The importance of frontline employees is highlighted in literature, and as it said at Whirlpool “Innovation comes from everyone, everywhere.” Front line employees are an important often underused resource when it comes to innovation. But who better understands the needs of the customer than these front line employees who personally interacts with them daily. And as such it is important to utilise them to the maximum effect in the innovation process. The idea presented in this post (ask author for details) outlines a few ways to do so.
